again everyone, hope everyone is making it through the winter alright,
according to what I’ve seen we still got a couple weeks worth of winter left
for sure.
Important news regarding the
newsletter, we are going to go on a bi-monthly letter now unless there is
something important that needs mentioned. So you will not receive a March
letter, but you will have one for April. Again, if there is something important
I’ll email it out to get the word around or send one as needed. Also Gregg
Taylor has made some changes to the garden tractor rules and some are made for
us by our insurance needs. There will be three weight classes (700lb, 900lb,
and 1100lb), there is no entry fee for the garden pulls, but as with all
pullers, over 18 must be a club member or child of a club member.
We are excited to be invited to be
part of the Lebanon Country Fest, June 14th, from 11-6. We’ll have a
large display area around the Golden Lamb/LCNB area (I believe) so they are
looking for tractors and other display items, more information will be coming
The final note, we want to remind
everyone to get their hitches together and wheelie bars. We will be teching the
tractors at the scales and if they pass we’ll be tagging them then. Also the
sled crew will be keeping an eye open too in case anyone misses something. Main
concern is are the bars long enough to stop a turn over and strong enough for a
side to side load too, once you’re on them and the tractor goes to rocking they
could fold up
I hope everyone is doing well, if you
have an event in mind, we need: A contact for the show, date, time, location,
name, and send that to me and I’ll pass it on so we can get the event list
together
